The Data Stack Show may have been born out of madness. COVID lockdowns drove us all to do some crazy things. Kostas decided to start a podcast. With no prior experience and no expertise, he dove right in.

I read a bunch of Louis L’amour novels in college. Louis is a legend. He worked in mines and lumber camps across the American West in the early 1900’s. He was a professional boxer, handled elephants for a circus in Asia, and commanded a company of gas tankers on the Western Front during WWII.

The idea for this post came to me deep in the woods of Pisgah National Forest. It was a hot and humid July day in 2020. I was burnt out in my job at the time and considering a change.
